Here
is the first quilt that I made. Really it is a wall hanging that was made
to celebrate my parent's 45th wedding anniversary. There are several photo
transfers in a center section highlighting their years together. Then my
sister and brothers signed the back with special messages for them. This
was a complete surprise to my parents. It was great to see their reaction
when I gave it to them. Dad and Mom, bet you never thought the whole world
would see this too!
This next
quilt is done in plaid flannels. It needs to be quilted. But, this picture
is so cute, I am including it. The well- loved dog on this quilt belonged
to my husband when he was a child. Now our oldest son is loving Dusty also.
As you can see, he is ready to become "real" from so much loving.
Below is
a quilt that was made from a pattern I received from an on-line group.
It is a bottle quilt and is made with jars filled with buttons. Thanks
for sharing the pattern, Lynn. The top elk quilt was made by a very talented
lady in our Colorado West Quilter's Guild. These quilts were part of a
silent auction that our guild held recently at our local Barnes and Noble
bookstore. Thank you Barnes and Noble.
