Quilt Gallery 2

March 1999

Here is a look at some of the most recent wall hangings that I've done. Maybe I should say completed. I have a few others but they are still UFO's at this point. I hope you enjoy your visit.

                   "MEMORIES"

This is a special quilt that was made to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. My mother-in-law is a quilter. I used fabrics from quilts that she has made to make this. The only fabric that was purchased was the gold and the light background. I didn't start with any particular design in mind. I let the number of pictures decide how to put this together. I then added the flying geese and wedding ring blocks at the top. The photo transfers were done by a great shop here in Grand Junction called the Sign Gallery.

     "With A Twist"

This is a small wall hanging made from batik charm samples and a Fossil Fern border.  The pattern is Drunkard's Path done by machine using Debbie Kratovil's method.  This measures about 12" x 18". This was a gift for my  brother who wanted something warm and sunny.
