From the account of Clara Rowland Shaffer: � My great great grandmother�s name was Melbourne. She was born and lived in England. My great grandparents were George and Barbara Graham, both born in England. My grandmother, Jane Graham, was born in Lancashire, England (My grandmother may have been mistaken about Lancashire. It may have been the port of embarcation, as it looks as if the family is from Cumberland). She came with her parents and brothers and sisters to America. They located in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Lorenzo's family was poor, so even though a good man, Jane�s aristocratic, wealthy parents disinherited her.�
