I knew Harry Miller when he was a very old, very independent man who lived on a homestead in northern Minnesota. He lived in a cabin with no electricity or running water even into his nineties. He was a colorful character.

I remember the Nelson Family Reunions held on Peter and Emma Nelson's farm near Stuart. Lots of family, lots of food. Since this was a "step" family, I felt quite the outsider as a child would.
