Gone with the Wind was set during and after the Civil War, this timeless 1939 blockbuster chronicles the devastation of the south and follows the romance between fiery and willful Scarlett O'Hara and dashing gun runner Rhett Butler

"There was a land of cavaliers and cotton fields.  Called the

old south.  Here in this pretty world gallantry took it's last

bow.

Here was the last ever to be seen of knights and their ladies

fair of master and of slave.

Look for it only in books for it is no more than a dream

remembered.

A civilization gone with the wind.

Welcome to my Gone With The Wind Page

One of Gone With the Winds most famous pictures, if Scarlett had

only known how much Rhett loved her.  Maybe his last words

wouldn't have been "Frankly My Dear I don't give a damn"

I adopted this beautiful globe from

Shari's "Gone With The Wind "Globes

Click on the globe to view Shari's

other wonderful creations.

Thank you so much Shari.

The red dress that Rhett made Scarlett wear to Melanie's party

after the rumors of her and Ashley being together.  Melanie

greeted her with open arms, just like the great lady that she

was.  Always forgiving and never believing rumors.

Rhett gambling with the Captain

while he was in prison.

Scarlett went to the prison to beg Rhett

for money so she can save "Tara" from

the tax men.

Some of the great posters advertising the movie, very

collectible pieces of memorabilia

These are some great pictures of a truck that we saw at the

truck show in Las Vegas.  The art work on this truck is

incredibly beautiful.

The pictures that were taken inside

of the truck didn't come out well enough

to post on this site.  The inside of this truck

is just like the beautiful sets in the movie.

This picture was on the side of this big Rig

These are just a few of the pictures and

collectibles that I have found in my travels.

A wonderful friend of mine, Sandy, made

the Green Dress for me. I wore the dress to

a NYE Party at my daughters house

in Georgia.  The green dress has always

been my favorite costume.  Thank you
