Time flies! Something must have gone my way this week! I lost 4 1/2 pounds! What did I do different this week? Well, I went for a walk 5 out of 7 days, and on the other 2 I tried to get some exercise. Mostly I just did some sit ups, push ups and leg lifts.
I will not be leaving a message next week, I will be in Disney World with my family. I have been very nervous over how I will do food wise while I am there, and I have given up on the nervousness, and have decided to enjoy myself while I am there. I will do my best to make wise choices and let my consceince (sp?) be my guide. I want to really enjoy this vacation, who knows how long it may be before another like it will come along!
I hope everyone has a great couple weeks ahead! Stay op, and please sign my guest book! |

As always I cannot believe that another week has already passed. I weighed in exactly the same as I did last week. In a way it was a relief, I was concerned that I would have a gain. It seemed like every other day I went over my point limit by 3-4 points, and if I didn't go over I had exactly my max number of points.
As they say slow and easy wins the race. Slow and easy can be frustrating though! I am hoping that this week will really be much better. I would like to lose a pound! This last week (right up today which is actually the 13th) has really been difficult for me to stay on program. For whatever reason my motivation is really slipping this week. I am determined to continue on and make it through this patch. One of the things I know would really help is to journal properly! Not to mention drinking more water!
This week I am going to do everything I can to stay low in my range - lets say 25 or under. I also need to start planning my days again. I had been very good at planning my days, but have let that go to the way side! So, back to the journal and to planning it all out! So, for example, tomorrow. We are going to my Grandma's house for dinner. She is serving roast beef, mashed potatos and gravy and veggies. Roast beef is 4 points for a 2 oz slice, mashed potatos are 2 points for 1/2 cup. Gravy is 2 points for a quarter cup. So, let me see, if i have a cereal bar and milk for breakfast that is 4 points. A cup of pea soup for lunch (Nile brand) that is 3 for a total of 7. Then lots of veggies and one slice roast beef, with 1 cup (sorry - I love mashed potatos) and probably 1/2 a cup of gravy will be 12 points for a total of 19 points. That leaves me 3 mandatory points left. If I want to stay at or below 25, it leaves me 6. I could have 1/2 of a dessert. (she usually makes pie).
Excuse my thinking out loud there! Wish me luck for the rest of this week! I will check back in with my results from next thursday - see you all then! |

I can't believe that another week has already passed! I weighed in and lost another 1.75 pounds! I was very proud of myself, they forget to give me my star, and I actually spoke up and said so! So, I got another star!
It was a long week of really riding the edge. I was surprised that I had a loss, I ate at least my max every single day. A couple days I didn't do a great job counting and likely had a point or two over.
I set my goal for memorial day weekend - 180 #. so, I have roughly 12 weeks to lose 16 pounds to meet my goal. I am pretty sure that I can do it, I know that it isn't an unreasonable goal. I do worry about vacation (I am sure I have probably mentioned this already). I am going to disney world for 6 days with my husband and our kids. I worry about being op while there. Really I worry more about gaining more than a pound or two. I know that I will get the exercise with all the walking we will be doing, but I worry about the food. I am sure it will all be so healthy!
My goal this week is to drink all my water every day - and to do a better job staying in my points! Good luck to all of you! |
