There's a time I can remember
Not too long ago
When I met a man named Jesus
Who changed my life so
I never thought about anyone
Before that day
But now I cry for lost souls
That need to be saved
It's so awesome to think about
A man on a cross
Who didn't deserve to die
For a girl that was lost
But He shed His blood on Calvary
For you and for me
Just reach out and accept Him
And you too, can be free

He was bruised, whipped and beaten
Spit upon and set on a tree
He wore a heavy cross on His back
And walked a road to Calvary
He was nailed and lifted up
On a tree that He had grew
But all He said was, "Forgive them Father,
For they know not what they do"
He could have called the angels
To take Him off of that cross
But He went on with God's plan
To seek and save that which was lost
I'm so thankful everyday
For the gift of life He gives
And even though He died on a cross
I know my Savior lives
Won't you please accept Him
So you can live eternally?
We don't deserve the gift of life
Jesus gave on Calvary
If you trust and believe
One day you'll never die
And you can live in eternity
For the Bible has never lied

My Prayer

I would've never dared to think
This world was lost in sin
Until that wonderful and glorious day
The Lord, to my heart, came in
I never thought I was so bad
And to Hell I would go
If at first I didn't obey
And the Lord Jesus did know
But now I am a new mother
With a little boy of my own
He will sin like his mother did
And obey and know Jesus when he's grown
If there was just one small wish
That I could have come true
It would be for people all over the world
To know the dear Lord as I do
So if you've ever lied, cheated or stole
You should know you disobey
And without the Lord in your heart
To Hell you'll go someday
