Welcome to the Nance Family home on the web. We are so glad that you stopped by for a visit! There is lots to do and see, so please make yourself at home and enjoy our humble attempts at creating a web site.  Hi! Steve, Stephanie, Sidney and I are currently living in Florida. Our family is a little larger than it was the last time I updated our pages. Sidney Elizabeth Nance was born April 30, 2004. I will be getting her pages on the site as soon as I can, but for now I will add some pics of the family on this page. Stephanie is an amazing 8 1/2 now and what a terrific little lady she is! She is getting excited about the end of school. We got back her FCAT results and, poor dumb little girl(kidding), she missed 2 questions in Reading and 3 in Mathematics. She is pretty proud of herself and we are quite pleased. Since school here lets out here in late May we have decided to allow her to attend a Kennedy Space Center summer camp. She is so excited and wants to do other science and math theme camps so I am on the look out for good quality educational (yet fun) opportunities for her. Our precious angel is certainly growing up to be a lot like her adorable daddy.  Sidney is a amazing little 3 year old little girl who is loving the freedom of not having to wear diapers anymore! She is currently attending a Montessori school where she is working on her letter sounds, math concepts and fine motor skills. Her vocabulary is astounding and her personality is hilarious. If you meet Sidney, you won't soon forget her. Thank goodness now that she has turned 3, her terrible twos phase seems to be going away. She is still very opinionated, but much more fun than before. We do love our little minx!  Steve has decided to begin a new phase of his working life. He is currently the Director of Nuclear Projects for General Electric Corporation. Basically this is a really big title that means he is the liason between GE and Florida Power and Light. He gets chewed on by Ge and he gets chewed on by FP&L. Not a fun spot to be in, but he is a good soldier and is doing everything he can to make the best of it. Now for an update on me. I still have my business but have added face painting to my services. It is such a kick seeing the kids happy faces when they see themselves in the mirror for the first time. I have to say, it is just the most fun I have had in a long time. Other than the business, I am of course busy being a mommy, volunteering at Sidney and Stephanie's schools, and being the 3rd grade Girl Scout Troop leader. Ya'll who know me, know that I can't help but get myself over my head in busy work. LOL But it is fun to stay involved with the girls and do things that benefit them as well as entertain me. Who knows what I will do next!
