For those of you who don't know what
Chip's Challenge is, well, you're missing out on some real fun.
It came bundled with the Microsoft Entertainment pack games and
is still available. We have a Super Chip's site out here called
Chips Plus. There's a link to it at the bottom of this page.
Chips Plus is THE site to find out everything there is to know
about the game, so I'm not going to take the space to repeat it
here. This page is dedicated to the one and only... Charter

Chipsters and Bitbusters were recently treated to a second chat
with Chuck Sommerville, the creator of Chips Challenge.
The chat, which took place
on 10/24/99, centered around the sequel to Chips Challenge that
Chuck currently has in the works.
That's right. You heard me
correctly. There WILL be a Chip's Challenge II!

Well, after 3 years of tracking the
original Charter Chipster's level scores, I've seriously let the
ball drop. As a result, I've removed the Chipster's Scorecard. It
was seriously out of date and a constant nag at my brain's guilt
center. But never fear! I do so in good conscience as two of our
newer Chipster's have picked up the ball and are running strong
with it. First, we now have Ruben's Chip's site. Ruben is
our Chipster Extraordinairé and he has created a terrific High-Times
page. His separate Evolution of scores
page is really well done and of great interest to his fellow
Chipsters as well.
In addition, Christian has
created a fantastic High-Score
site where all Chipster's can report
their individual level scores. It's so well done, it even let's
you know which levels you've gone bold on and on the others, how
many points you are away from making bold. Thanks to both Ruben
and Christian for these sites. They're terrific!

We found each other on an old
classic msn bulletin board that was dedicated to the MS
Entertainment Pack games. That board closed down without notice,
but we quickly regrouped when LimoJohn found us another msn Game
Board. The FM there was Jay Kee, the best of the best. He held
our hands while explaining to us what it meant to upload
something..or zip something..or try this Paint Shop Pro..it's a
much better product..
Well..we've come along way baby..Our
little bulletin board is even out there on the web now, and Jay
is still with us at our helm.

Other little side games have kept us
amused for sort periods during the occasional Chips Lulls.
