2000 to 2001 

• Selected for national final interview stage of prestigious Morehead Scholarship (1 of 12 individuals invited to  interviews).  Scholarship includes full tuition coverage to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and paid  summer internship opportunities with internationally recognized business, law, financial firms, and human rights  organizations.  (Scholarship value: $100 000 US)

•  Selected as national scholarship recipient for CMSF foundation, for leadership and contributions to the community.  (Valued at $36 000)

•  Semi-finalist for Wendy's Classic Achiever scholarship

• Recipient of Miller Thomson Foundation scholarship, for community involvement and academic achievement

• Recipient of TD/Canada Trust Scholarship for Outstanding Community Leadership, recognizing consistent and lasting  contributions to the school and community at large.   Selected as 1 of 20 students across Canada to receive this  award.  (Valued at $50 000)

• Recipient of University of Western Ontario National President's Scholarship. Chosen as 1 of 11 recipients, for proven  leadership and creativity, and academic achievement.  (Top scholarship offered by the university, valued at $30 000  over four years)
