Finally my hands are getting good enough for me to be able to type & keep this page updated!!

Today I went for my very first walk in the snow, first I went down to our 'crick', it was so frozen over I was able to stand on it & sorta skate/slide in my shoes, (I like to think I was skating *hahaha*) this also was a first for this little Aussie. Where I come from in Australia we never have snow or forzen over 'cricks' While my family & friends in Aussie-land are experiencing a week of over 100oF heat, here it is day 17 of freezing weather. Infact when I took my 90 minute walk today it was -4oC/26oF, something totally new & fasinating for me


Our little creek has frozen over, the tracks on the left our Terror's (our cat) paw prints, the slide mark is where the neighbourhood kids sled along	This is futher up stream.

This is a field I came to and the end of my walk	This hole in the ice here is where I tried to get to close to the flowing water & ended up with a very cold foot
