You can help by sending a card, prayer, donation,
becoming a bone marrow donor, or in many other ways.
Chemo Angels a volunteer group dedicated to adding a ray of sunshine to the lives of those undergoing treatment for cancer.
Make A Child Smile features three new children each month that are fighting illnesses.  They tell the story about each child, and list a PO box you can send a nice card or small gift to.  They also send updates on these children as the parents send them in.  Great site!!!!!  For the price of three cards and stamps...you can bring great joy to these children and their families!
Locks Of Love -Are you cutting your hair off?  Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children across the U.S. under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss.
Smiles and Hugs is another site that features children with illnesses in Canada to send cards, gifts, or email to.
Project Linus provides security through blankets to children with illness or who have been traumatized.   You can make a blanket to donate, or help in other ways.

The Mark McGwire Foundation For Children is designed to educate yourself, your friends and family members about child abuse prevention.  Here you will find a story designed to teach children not to keep secrets about sexual abuse, kids safety, teen safety, a guide for girls on love and respect and abuse in relationships, and safety tips including internet safety information, games, and a club house.

Volunteer Match VolunteerMatch helps individuals nationwide find volunteer opportunities posted by local nonprofit and public sector organizations.  VolunteerMatch's powerful online database allows volunteers to search thousands of one-time and ongoing opportunities by zip code, category, and date. Then signup automatically by email for those that fit their interest and schedule.   Great way to help your local area!!!!
Kids Need Prayer..is a wonderful site where you can go and pray for children in need.  You can also join their mail list and get
updates on the children.
Spirit Creations  - is a site where you can send a plate to send a sick child, or sponsor a plate to go to a sick child.  The plate and a plate stand are sent to hospitals, hospices, and homes around the country, semi-anonymously. The first name of a child is given to us...his or her condition...and hopefully their age. The plate goes out with the child's name. No brochure or advertisment of any kind is included. No contact is made except by a Teddy Bear, an Angel and a card.

Sending Our Love - is basically a labor of love. Far too many  people are suffering out there and could use a little joy in their  lives. Each month several people are featured on our site along  with their stories.
