In no way are we claiming Anne McCaffrey's idea. Yes, she did inspire this RPG, but we've tried to make it as different as possible. Most notable are the colors of the dragons and their sizes. (On Pern, a gold dragon was the largest, on Gaian, white and black dragons are the largest). We've also thrown in a color of dragon that can be two genders. Thus giving Gaian six dragon colors. The only reason I kept green is because its my favorite color. Also, dragons on Gaian have scales so smooth that its just like regular skin & you can see the outlines of the scales, but its nearly impossible to life them up.

And in no way are we trying to copy any of the RPGs that have also sprung along similar lines. Obviously, since we're small, we can't have all the Heights occupied. Once this place gets going, then well expand first to Northshores Heights (which is already on the map, and the map doesn't look like Pern, does it?), then from there will head to one of the abandoned Height in the south.
