01/27/02 Friday night we saw the division within the Furious Faction become even wider. The night started, as far as the Faction is concerned, with Brett Bonz, the NWA Television Champion, facing BJ Turner, the NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion, in a non-title confrontation. Bonz seemed as if he was in control of the match, but all of the sudden on the Jumbo Tron for all the world to see, Hellraiser and John Allen are seen fighting in the back. This distracts Bonz, making it very apparent his frusteration with the two. As we see security pull the two men apart in the back, Bonz turns his attention back to BJ Turner. With Bonz's distraction, Turner was able to regain his senses and duck a crushing blow from Bonz, which backfired, putting Bonz on the matt, allowing Turner to come up victorious. As Bonz made his way to the back, the frusteration had obviously turned to anger. A little later in the show, Hellraiser & Allen were scheduled one-on-one against eachother. It's possible Ken Taylor is trying to bring matters to a head, pitting the two men directly against one another. Probably, with the hopes of settling this disrupting dispute. But before the bell could sound, even before Rob Moore could call the wrestlers to the ring, Hellraiser Hark & John Allen once again come to blows in the back. This time, it spilled over from the locker room to the audience and then to the ring. As both men battled, blinded by their fury, neither was able to gain the advantage with the enslaught that they gave to each other. After dealing out and receiving punishment, equal on both sides, Brett Bonz once again makes his presence known. Bonz comes to the ring with a chair, hits John Allen, and while Allen is down, Bonz continues his punishment. At this point in time, Hellraiser is all smiles, under the assumption that Bonz has now shown his true loyalty. But as Hellraiser turns to face Bonz, Bonz greets him with the same furious enthusiasm that he nailed Allen with. We can only assume that this was retaliation for the distraction that caused Bonz to lose his match against Turner. All here at the Fury Staff has been wondering just exactly where Bonz's loyalty lies. Judging by these actions, with his retubution being equal to both Hellraiser & Allen, that question still remains. But if you pay attention to the commentary on Bonz's website, it is stated that his loyalty is with the Furious Faction, not any individuals. We believe though, that it lies with one individual - Brett Bonz. Some may say that there is an identity crisis within the Faction, but as stated before here, the identity of the Furious Faction, comes directly from the Furios One. Hellraiser Hark. With the dispute not being settled between Allen & Hellraiser Friday night, we are confident that these two will get it on again in the future. Whether it be a sanctioned NWA match or event, or whether it be in the parking lot, this dispute will be settled soon. Saturday, TCW had Hellraiser still having to deal with problems here also. Kevin Dark, since being pinned in the match against the Overboyz and losing the tag titles, has been attempting to redeem himself to his partner and TCW Heavyweight Champ, Hellraiser Hark. Thus far however, he has been unsuccessful. With Hellraiser's own version of "Tough Love" Hellraiser sets the match with Dark pitted against the Fat Samoans in a handi-capped match. Before the match started, Kevin Dark let the crowd know what was about to happen, and he also let it be known that he does not feel that he deserves this depth of scrutiny that he has gotten from the Hellraiser. Not taking anything away from the Pitbull, he showed his toughness and tenacity as he fought the two coconut heads. Dealing out punishment almost as much as he received it from the two, Pitbull actually gained the advantage with taking the fattest Samoan (Epi) into his pattented ankle breaker. As the Pitbull tightened his grip, out walks Hellraiser. He seemed to ask Pitbull if he needed a chain. In the heat of the battle, Pitbull loses his focus, relinquishes the hold, confronts Hellraiser telling him to get away, that he doesn't need him, and to get the f*** out of his ring. He then turns back to face his opponents, but they took advantage of the opening that he gave them. The Fat Samoans gained the victory, but as they were about to raise their hands, Hellraiser Hark puts them down with a thundering left hand wrapped with a chain. And as Dark regains his feet, Hellraiser is once again pissed off at his partner and puts him down with the same ferosity that he does all his opponents. Hark & Dark seem to be in the same state as the Faction is at NWA Southwest. But probably with a little more on the line. Next week TCW's tournament for their tag belts starts. Since the Overboyz have parted ways and are no longer a team, Hark & Dark would seem to be the number one contendors and favorites to regain the titles. But with the state of affairs being what it is, that is a very slight possibility now. The TCW Heavyweight Championship was on the line last night in Denton. Hellraiser Hark having issued a challenge to Dr. X for the title last week after the surprise return of the masked man. This match was preceded by Hellraiser ranting and complaining about the fact that everyone knows who is actually under that mask. Never saying the name, but never having to. Hellraiser announced that a formal investigation with the commissioner Paul Lewis has been undertaken to get to the bottom of it. As Dr. X's music plays and he makes his entrance, Hellraiser begins to make good on his guarantee that the TCW Heavyweight belt will not change hands on this night. Hitting the masked man in the back with the belt sat into motion the main event of the night. After a pre-bell maylay, all throughout the TCW Arena, Hell's Kitchen, the two men finally enter the ring and began the match in a more traditional fashion. As to be expected, each man gave what they received and the balance of the match rode on every blow and every move given. But, the ref clumsily stumbled in between the two men, thus rendering him horizontal on the mat. Hellraiser takes advantage of the situation, attempts to hit X, but in turn clocks the referee with the Championship belt, rendering him now completely unconcious. X is able to gain control of the belt and deliver a skull shattering blow to Hellraiser, but X was unaware that the referee was unable to make the count, and as the good Doctor attempts to revive the referee, Hellraiser once again gains control of the belt. Sneaking in his own blow to X, leaving him flat on his back in the middle of the ring. As the semi-conscious Hellraiser makes the pin, Paul Lewis runs from the back, slides into the ring, and delivers the One.......Two.......Three. Hellraiser still reigns supreme in the TCW! There was another occurance involving Paul Lewis earlier in the night, with none other than the Unprofessional One, in which John Allen unwarrantedly attacks people including Paul Lewis, and then storms from the building. This is more evidence of Allen being out of whack with his reality. Paul Lewis being the shrewd behind the scenes man he is, possibly could have seen the opportunity to offer or maybe even secure an arrangement with the surpreme predatory beast of TCW, Hellraiser Hark. This is only a speculation from the Staff's point of view. In relation to the new pics, the one titled "missle drop kick" is incorrectly titled. It is actually a standing drop kick. We at the Fury Staff wanted to point this out, and feels this correction is warranted just to show that that is a 285-pounder accomplishing an athletic feet such as that. 01/22/02 There are new pics in the photo album from Hellraiser's match at TCW last Saturday! Go to the pics page and click on album 3 to view! 01/20/02 The conflict within the Furious Faction seems to be heading to a chaotic climax. Friday night the dispute over who is in charge of the Furious Faction was once again evident, as they gave an in-ring interview. John Allen took the mic from Hellraiser, stating that he gives the interviews here. Of course Hellraiser disagreed, and in the midst of their argument, Brett Bonz gained control of the microphone, and proceded to tell Hellraiser, Allen, and the rest of the world that he's sick and tired of this bickering, asking why the hell are they arguing, when he is the only champion in the Faction. After calling Hellrasier and Allen losers, and questioning whether he wants to be associated with them, he left the ring with Hark and Allen still in each other's face. Fuel was thrown on the fire as Hellraiser's match with Devistator came to a head with Hellraiser calling for assistance, but John Allen not allowing Bonz to help Hellraiser. Then, Allen climbs onto the apron, hitting Hellraiser in the head with the chain that he took from Bonz, causing Hellraiser to stumble into Devistator, and thus being powerbombed and losing the match. John Allen was in the following match, going up against JP Black. Just as John Allen seemed to be making a comeback, Hellraiser strolled down, jumped up on the apron distracting John Allen. Hellraiser delivered a short palm fist to John Allen's forehead, causing him to turn in to a pinning position for JP Black, therefore losing the match. With the chaos within the Faction, their number one opponent is the Facion itself. The walls of Hellraiser's domain seem to be cracking, and possibly crumbling around him. As stated before by the Fury Staff, Hellraiser is our leader, and John Allen is being anything but Professional. Sure, John Allen had a change of attitude on his own, but with his allegance of Bonz & Hark, he seems to have really been able to find his dominating abilities in the ring. Hellraiser brought you into his Faction, John Allen, and he may be the one to take you out. Still, the burning question in everyone's mind here at the Fury Staff is where exactly does Brett Bonz align himself? Calling both the men losers and walking out on them, but then coming to Hellraiser's assistance and then only to allow John Allen to stop him, just what is up with that? All should realize though, that without Hellraiser, the Furious Faction is only a Delirious Fraction of it's former self. TCW Saturday night, Hellraiser & Dark vs. Striker & Mystery Opponent. It really was not much of a surprise, but it was disconcerting none the less. As the main event rolled around, and Striker made his way to the ring partnerless, Paul Lewis came to say that he has foiled Striker's little mysery, stating that he has a contact saying that the mystery opponent had been detained in Oklahoma, not able to make it. But then the lights went down and when they came back on, Lewis was found standing face to face with a surprise. Not Gary Tool, but his alter ego, as we all know, Dr. X! Hark & Dark decide to give these two bohemiths a surprise by entering the ring unannounced, but to the fans agulation, Striker & X clear the ring with a moment of glory. After dishing out a good amount of punishment to the Hellraiser, Striker & X find themselves on the receiving end of Hark & Dark's rage. Knowing the weaknesses of their more often faced opponent Striker, Hellraiser & Pitbull systematically break Striker's physical ability. As they go in for the kill though, Dark once again stumbles, allowing Striker to evade the blow. Hellraiser charges in for the kill, but luck must have been looking down on Striker, as in a moment, he turns it around and is able to tag in his oftenly referred to "Baby" Dr. Kinky X, who seems to have a fixation with Hellraiser's ass! As X enters the ring, the pace quickens, and all four men spill out onto the floor in an all-out brawl. Chairs flying, people flying, pain being delt out like poker cards, we see Hellraiser and X re-enter the ring man to man, one on one. As Hellraiser skillfully gains the upperhand, and calls for assistance from his partner, Dark attempts to help, but once again drops the ball. Hellraiser in disbelief and out of frusteration, blinding charges at X who moves out of the way, causing Hark to knock Dark into the fans, and stumbling back into Dr. X, who puts the TCW Heavyweight Champion down for the pin. After gaining his feet, Hellraiser gets the mic, obviously upset with his partner Kevin Dark. Dark then turns his back on Hellraiser, and leaves the ring with a resounding "F You!" to Hellraiser. Hellraiser then turns his attention to Dr. X, challenging him to a one on one match for the TCW Heavyweight Championship at TCW's next show, Devistation! Dr. X accepts the challenge, and once again reveals his fixation with Hellraiser's @$$ (you had to be there). The Fury Staff's vision of the future for Hellraiser, is one of a rocky road. But we, knowing what we know of Hellraiser, can forsee that he will come out on top. He started out in the business all alone, and with everything that is happening around him, it looks as if that's where he will end up. But that's ok with him. Unfortunately we have not been able to contact any of the members of the Furious Faction or Kevin Dark, and with all honestly we wouldn't really care what they have to say. All that matters to us is the Furious ONE. So, as our leader often says, put your game face on because it's time to play. And in this game, Hellraiser brings the violence. 01/17/02 Saturday night, 01/12/02 at TCW, Hellraiser defended his Heavyweight title once again, against Striker. With no surprise from us at the Fury Staff, Hellraiser was victorious. In normal fashion, with a Furious brutality, Hellraiser pummelled Striker in the same manner that he always does. After gaining the pinfall, Hellraiser began celebrating a well-deserved victory, but was interrupted by Striker attacking him from behind! Apparently, with the embarrassment and humiliation that Striker was dealt he was not able to accept his defeat gracefully. After shortly gaining the upper hand, Striker was himself jumped from behind by the Pitbull Kevin Dark! With yet another attempt to get back in good graces of the Hellraiser, after being pinned in the tag match against the Overboyz, in which they gained the Tag titles. Hark & Dark stomped Striker into the mat, which apparently jarred something loose. Striker got on the mic and said since Hellraiser & Pitbull like to double-team so much, he will give them the chance to do it in legal fashion. Striker challenged Hark & Dark to a tag match with him having a mystery partner. The only mystery here is who is foolish enough to side with Striker of all people, and step in the ring with Hellraiser?! Although Hellraiser, to those who know him well, as we do, seemed to have some distraction that accompanied him to the ring. More than likely, this has something to do with the friction in the Faction. The Furious Faction, and the friction within, is an uncharted territory. It is possible that there is dispute over who is in charge in the Furious Faction. John Allen seems to have a problem with the fact that Hellraiser runs the Faction. And why not? He is the founding father of the Furious Faction. There is definitely a conflict between Hellraiser Hark and John Allen. That is plain to see with what happened last Friday at NWA. One question we have at the Fury Staff is exactly where does Bonz stand within this dispute? Will he side with his mentor, will he side with John Allen, or will he venture out on his own? We have tried to contact any or all of the Faction members, but none were available or willing to comment at this time. The friction within the Faction is feverently feeding a furoscious fight in the future! For the followers of the Faction, fly by NWA Friday night to the flim-flubbidy-flay fArena foo feel fa Fury! Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! (Flipity Flappin Frickin Fockin Fookin Fart!) 01/11/02 We are at a loss for words as to what happened tonight at the NWA Southwest Arena! As the Furious Faction was basking in their glory of once again putting Mike Thunder on his heels, Thunder jumped the Faction from behind. But, he was cut off short before achieving whatever his goals may have been. During the process, Hellraiser and John Allen butted heads, and with this, tempers flaired and prevailed throught the evening between the two. After the Thunder beat-down, Hellraiser was victorious in his match against Brian Brennan. Brennan, not taking his defeat too well, jumped Hellraiser from behind, but Bonz and Allen took up for their furious leader. But as John Allen was holding Brennan to receive a punch from Hellraiser, Brennan was able to escape and therefore Hellraiser clobbered Allen instead. This prompted Allen to shove Hellraiser and the two were in eachother's face once again. All of this culminated into an impromptu challenge issued from John Allen to Hellraiser! Allen came to the ring screaming something like "Who does Hellraiser think he is? Why does he think HE runs the Faction?" We at the Fury Staff have an aswer: Duh! Because he's the founding father of the Faction, not to mention the FURY! Allen called Hellraiser out, saying they would find out once and for all. Hellraiser, not bashful, and never one to walk away from a fight against anyone, stormed to the ring and an all-out Donny Brook brawl took over the NWA Arena! Fans were perplexed, just as Brett Bonz was. After breaking a pin from each of his commrades, Bonz leaves ringside to let the two men fight it out between themselves. After pummeling each other, who is to say which one was dominant? But Phil Brown could no longer control the two, and disqualified them both. But the ringing of the bell did not stop the furious meeting between the two. Bonz once again came to the ring to seperate his furious brothers, but instead, in an instant, became the focus of their fury! But the wiley Bonz ducked out of the way and Allen and Hellraiser knocked eachother out with their punches in attempt to get at Brett Bonz. We haven't been able to get in contact with Hellraiser, or any of the Faction as of tonight. Please check back in for further developments, as these two will also be in close proximity at the TCW show on Saturday the 12th! 01/05/02 DOMINATION of 2002 started last night at the NWA Arena with Faction member Brett Bonz winning the NWA Southwest Television Title. This proves to all that individually the members of the Faction can dominate a title scene on their own, since now all three members of the Faction have held the Television Title. Brett Bonz gained the TV Title in the FACTION STYLE with sheer brutality, beating his opponent Paulline London to the point that the girly man could not get back into the ring! Once Phil Brown made the 20-count and London had not returned, the Senior Referee at NWA Southwest raised Bonz's hand in victory. Some may dispute this, saying a title can't be lost on a count-out. But it would have been the same result if London would have been laying in the ring or out of the ring as it were. And anyway, as if we give a shit! We play by Faction rules, nobody else's rules! Mac Daddie Mike Anthony remains Texas Champ after a title defense against Hellraiser Hark. Only by the skin of his teeth! Hellraiser took every advantage that was afforded to him, dishing out his version of FACTION STYLE punishment. But narrowly escaping what would have been a crushing spear in the corner, Hellraiser tries to finish Mac Daddie off with a chain. But Mac Daddie is on the top of his game and was able to elude the punch and pin the Furious One with a sweet northern lights suplex, pinning with a bridge. There is no love lost between these two, or between the Faction and Black Attack. The Fury is boiling and the Faction has its sights set on the Black Attack. The question is: Can they withstand the enslaught that comes along with being in the ring with the Furious Faction? Rumor has it that London's injury was faked. We here at the Fury Staff can sympathize with Paul London. We've had Bonz on our back before, too. We don't blame you for faking that injury one bit, because that was the only way to stop his pounding brutality! We also understand that he will be appearing in a rival wrestling organization, and rumor is that that is why he faked his injury. But let us set the facts straight. London RAN from an all-out FACTION STYLE ass whippin! One that he had felt before, and one that he could not face again. Also, rumor has that other members of the NWA Southwest stable have turn-coated and ran to this other rival organization as well. I won't mention their names, but it's not hard to figure out, since it's the only tag team in professional wrestling whose manager outweights the wrestler's combined weights! Several factors contribute to this, but only one is worth mentioning. That one being, the problems within their unit and knowing that the Faction would be hot after them with the occurances at TCW last week! So as far as the Fury Staff is concerned, good riddance to those that can't stand the heat. NWA Southwest didn't lose anything, but the rival organization gained something. They gained their prescious championship belt back! As for the TV Title Belt that only fits the Juniors, wear it well. |
