The Workbee

Created for ST-TMP based on designs by Andrew Probert, this model has been resurrected for the 'Oh my God, look at the opening for B5' titles for DS9.
I have based it on the plans in 'Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise' but have modified the grabber sled attachment to reflect one of Mr Probert's original, and in my opinion, more superior, designs.
I will eventually get around to jointing the arms for IK.

The USS Reliant

An original design for ST-TWOK although it retained the design philosophy of the Enterprise. It has since appeared in most of the movies and subsequent series in various form, plus or minus the roll bar, plus or minus extra weapons or sensor pods. Based on the plans in 'Ships of the StarFleet: Vol 1'.
I freely admit to cannibalising the primary hull and engines from Eric Peterson's superlative Enterprise, I hope my additional parts match his original standard.

The Orbital Drydock - ST-TMP

How do we explain the re-vamped Enterprise design - why not refit it in a Drydock. A beautiful Andrew Probert design that still takes my breath away on screen - even if I have to watch William Shatner trying to look all gooey eyed at his new ship.
This is a complete reworking of a model that appeared on Light-Rom 1 - I have retained some of the surface settings. I have not added the office/gangway assembly yet - I am trying to find some reliable references.

The Orbital Drydock - Generations

As a homage to ST-TMP they decided to launch the Enterprise-B from a familiar looking Drydock. However when the modelmaker opened the box in which the original miniature was stored, they found only a collection of vaguely recognisable pieces...... Their on-screen repair job looks wonderful. Again, I have yet to build the office complex as well as the giant clamp that secures the Enterprise-B in place - at least I have a photo reference of that one.
