Heinz-Harald Frentzen , born Monchengladbach Germany.15th may1967

When Frentzen arived on the Formula 1 scene he was to most people the 1 young driver who could take the fight up to the very quick Michael Schumacher, after all he beat Michael in the junior formulas so there was no reason why he couldnt do it in the elite formula of motor racing.

But for the first couple of seasons in f1,Frentzen had good cars in the Saubers with some impressive results and points finishes, but never had the car to show his real talent. That was until season 1997 when he was singned up with then the best team on th grid ,the Williams Renaut, this should have been the time for Frentzen but turned out to be 2 very hard years, Frentzen didn't seem comfortable in the Williams enviroment and it was time for a change.

Eddie Jordan still seen enormous talent in HHF and singed him up for the 1999 season and Frentzen never looked back. He seemed very relaxed in the Jordan enviroment and his results showed, with several podiums ,2 wins and at 1 stage a chance of the world championship.

The 2000 season season saw only 11 points for Frentzen but that was through bad reliability from the Jordan, the car letting him down more often than not in points scoring positions. Now with works Honda engine 2001 should be a great year for Frentzen.

After a great start to season 2001 with Frentzen scoring points in the first 2 races things are going wrong, and with computer driving aids back in f1 Frentzen is having trouble just getting of the line .The saga continues

Below are all of Heinz-Harald Frentzens career results.
