Accessed June 13, 2004. A substantial portion of the Bermuda Online page devoted to its many famous visitors consists of a chronology of the numerous visits paid to the island by members of the British Royal Family from Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh in 1861 to the Duchess of Gloucester in 2003.

Painstakingly researched site about the dress worn by Princess Diana at a barbecue at Fort Edmonton, Alberta, during the 1983 royal tour of Canada. The dress is currently on display at The University of Alberta's Clothing and Textiles Collection.

Private and Official Visits Since 1953. Accessed June 13, 2004. A detailed chronology listing every private and official public visit paid by members of the British Royal Family to Canada since 1953, including the dates, the number of days of each visit, and the communities visited. The list includes deceased members of the family such as The Queen Mother, Princess Margaret, and Princess Marina, the Dowager Duchess of Kent, as well as more obscure members of the current family such as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and Princess Alexandra. It does not include the late Princess of Wales or Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. Otherwise, it is probably the most comprehensive and authoratative source to consult for such information.

Accessed June 13, 2004, Official site from the Saskatchewan Protocol Office about the visit of HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, from June 4-7, 2004, to mark the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings, in her official capacity as Colonel-in-Chief of the Regina Royal Rifles, which was one of the first Canadian regements to land on the beaches at Normandy. She also unveiled a commemorative plaque in Regina to the British war brides of Saskatchewan.

Among the many ceremonial events he attended was the opening ceremony of the First Nations University of Canada and the presentation of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Though there is no link between the two pages, this page is put out by the same Canadian Heritage site that produced the Private and Official Visits Since 1953 listed above. Like it, it is also a detailed chronological listing of all official and private visits by members of the British Royal Family to Canada with dates, period of time spent, and communities visited, for the period from 1786 through 1951.

Royal Visits: Heritage Resources. Accessed June 13, 2004. Chronicles the many royal visits of the royal family to Saint John from 1794 to 1983. This is an extensive site that has had a lot of time and thought put into it, and is quite appealing.

Royal Visits to the University of British Columbia Campus. Accessed June 13, 2004. A nice historical site that has made excellent use of the university's archives to supply photos and historical information about Queen Elizabeth's visits to their campus in 1951, 1959, and 1983, in celebration of her Golden Jubilee visit in 2002.

Welcoming the Royals: the Archival Legacy. Accessed June 13, 2004. One of the finest sites I have yet run across on historic royal visits, which is an online exhibit put up by the province
of British Columbia Archives in Victoria in conjunction with the Queen's October 2002 visit.
It incorporates documents, photos, film, and other rare items from their holdings to make a very interesting and accessible site.

William in Chile. Accessed June 13, 2004. Contains articles, pictures, and  video clips of Prince William's ten week volunteer sojourn in Chile during 2001 on behalf of the charity Raleigh International.
