This loco is definately, a scottish loco. There is no denying it by looking at its allocations having only spent a few years outside scotland. With the end of the 47s on the scottish sleepers however, 790 has had to move south to Crewe. It still manages up to Inverness too, being used for driver training in mid-November 2001. It was one of the last 5 EWS 47s active but has since been stored at Healley Mills. |
