Mont Blanc Adventure Hiking Trail - 6 Day 5 Night Hike - Riversdale - 60 kilometers

Distance: 60 kilometers

Hike Accommodation:
Comfortable cottages can accommodate a maximum of 12 people. The cottages have a built-in braai that is suitable for all weather conditions. Warm water, mattresses, firewood are available. There are no fridges.

Hike Equipment:
Although personal tastes differ, the following items should be considered. Clothing: trousers, shorts, underwear, tracksuits, sturdy hiking boots, light walking shoes, long socks, six light shirts, one warm shirt, sweater, light rainproof jacket or anorak and hat. Essential Equipment: backpack 20 kg capacity, sleeping bag, torch, two water bottles, personal toiletries, lip balm, sunscreen, insect repellent. Optional Equipment: sunglasses, camera, binoculars, compass.

Hike Transport:
Transport from George to the start of the hiking trail and back to George will be provided by GRHT.

Hike Restrictions:
A minimum of 4 hikers - a maximum of 12 hikers. All hikers require personal accident insurance.
