Hello, and welcome to our site.
Through these pages we will be paying tribute to those who made the sport
of NASCAR Winston Cup racing what it is today, and to those who were just
beginning to leave their mark, but were taken away too soon. We hope you
enjoy our efforts.
This tribute page has decided to take a different
direction. In light of recent events that have taken place in New York
City, no one deserves more of a tribute than the brave people of the New
York Fire Department, New York Police Department, members of EMS
organizations from other states, and the countless volunteers who have
worked long, hard hours in the rescue and recovery work there. As a former
EMT, and volunteer rescue squad member, I have a sense of the work they
are doing, as I have done similar on a much smaller scale. I pray and applaud
them for their tireless, continued effort. The picture above is a strong
image of what we are about, we are a United nation, standing strong, let's
not forget, ever.
With 200 wins and 7 Championships, he has been
called the "King of Nascar". Having been a fan of his since 1970, and after accumulating a huge collection of memorabilia, this page would not be complete without seeing him here.
On February 18, 2001, while watching the Daytona
500, fans everywhere watched as the world of Nascar lost its greatest hero.
This is one tribute I was waiting to do after he had retired from driving.
Though I wasn't a fan, I held much respect for him as a driver, and all
the great things he could do, and did on each race track each week. He
will be greatly missed by everyone.
The 1992 Winston Cup Champion. We lost him
before he really had a chance to enjoy his championship reign. My best
friend Bill was a true fan of Alan's. Bill always cheers for the underdog,
in this case "Underbird", and he was truly happy to see Alan win hhis first
championship live, not on a TV broadcast.
Davey Allison was destined to be a great
driver, like his dad, Bobby Allison. But 1993 was an unkind year
to race fans, and to the families of these drivers.
Though he never won a championship, he was still a champion in the eyes
of his fans.
A fourth generation driver, we never
really got to see what he could accomplish. If there ever was a driver
we lost way too soon, it was Adam. Only 19 years old, and destined to bring the Petty name back to the status it once was. Would he have been the future driver of the famed #43?, We will never know.
Kenny was a true racer, and it showed from
the various forms he competed in. He was a success in each of them, and
was just coming into his own in Winston Cup, when he was taken away.
A founding member, and considered the leader
of the famed "Alabama Gang" Bobby had a great career, and some great rivalries.
Bobby retired from racing after a serious crash in Pocono in 1988, but
still can be seen around the NASCAR family.
Cale was a hard charger in every sense of the
word. Driving for legendary car owners such as Junior Johnson, the Wood Brothers, and Rainier Lundy, he was a force to be reckoned with every single sunday afternoon. After retiring from driving, Cale tried his hand at being a car owner. No one has had the determination that he drove with since then.
Darrell is one of the most colorful people
to ever step inside of a race car. In the early years he told it like it
was, but as the years went by, he became more comical in his interviews. But on the track, he was no joke,he was a serious driver who always produced good
results. Darrell retired from racing after the 2000 season, and will make his way to the broadcast booth. We will miss seeing him.
RETIRE?

Due to the amount of Spam and Trash I have been receiving in my Guestbook, I have decided to delete it. It is a shame you can't have something decent without a bunch of loser's with no life spamming you all the time with stupid websites and ads.
