Bev's Journal We Proceeded On... Part II: The Journey West |
29 July 2002 Hawn State Park Near Farmington MO Into the breach once more, dear friends…so cried King Harry on St. Crispian’s Day, just before the battle of Agincourt. Sorry for the long hiatus - we are back on the road again (and happy to be so!) after many reversals of fortune, mishaps and other unfortunate occurrences. One of the things that delayed us significantly was my broken leg. Not too easy to camp and hike with an injured gam! The heat has been hideous, as you probably know, so we didn't get far from home--Hawn State Park is a mere 13 miles from Farmington, but it's a start. |
