Here are two of the forms we learned to make in the workshop -- using wire mesh screening sewn together to make a form (a mug), and on the right, creating a form by soldering pieces of galvanized wire together (a lampshade). |

This form was made by wiring or tying pieces of reed together. The reeds need to be soaked first, to make them pliable; when dry, the form will be rigid. |
