there's a new hipster band on the austin scene... it's called ass like j.lo and will be a ninja-themed band which does ironic and booty-shaking covers of songs done by jennifer lopez.

this has been a big couple of weeks for me, as far as concerts go. last week i saw interpol and beulah, and this week is my morning jacket and built to spill! four shows in two weeks! and i got tickets to see belle and sebastian in november. spoon is opening. soy muy exitado.
