Our puppies are born and raised in the family room where we spend most of our time. The puppy pen has a doggy door that leads to a large puppy pen outside. This allows the pups to potty train themselves at about 5 to 6 weeks of age. Its amazing how fast they learn to potty as far from where they eat as possible, if given that option. I spend about 4 hours a day in the pen with the puppies, playing, taking photos and loving them. Tails are docked at 3 days old and I have the ears cropped at about 7 weeks of age. By the time the puppies are ready for their new homes, they have been wormed 3 times and had their first round of vaccinations. I do OFA health testing on all my adult dogs. This includes hips, elbows, heart (including echocardiogram) and CERF eye certification (including gonioscopy ). I want my puppies to go to forever, loving homes. I do not sell puppies through the internet, so if you are interested in my upcoming litter you would need to call me on the phone so we can discuss the details. I am very particular about where my puppies go. They are after all, my babies. |
