This could be a tale, but many people believe that it's true.
In this world, at any time, in any space, there's always brightness and darkness. These two powers are to keep this world balanced. If there's no brightness in this world, this world will become the devil's paradise, only death, wars, sins exist; if the world's without darkness, this world will be over perfect, no sadness, only numbness happiness. Its own balance will be lost.
Unreality, the god of creation, and Strifeshadow, the god of darkness, they had worked together to create a world of good and evil. They synchronized with each other, creating different kinds of creatures and environments which were suitable for them to live in. They concluded the law of the nature, taught the creatures to get along with each other in order to let them breed and live. The world was just perfect, so they called it Utopia.
As time went on, the creatures developed a civilization and system of their own. They began to acquire intelligence, emotions, anxieties and even ambition. Even some of the creatures started to abominate Strifeshadow. They loathed death, sadness, conflicts and wars. They loved Unreality, the one who gave them lives, happiness, peace and development. They united together and attempted to kill Strifeshadow, and this action angered Strifeshadow. Though he had done many things to keep this world balanced and he had participated in creating this world. He also gave lives to these creatures but now he was harshly denounced. This was not at all; this also instilled the hatred deep down in Strifeshadow's heart…...
Since that period, he swore he must eradicate Unreality and all creatures, build a brand new dark world, thus Unreality is forced to lead the creatures to battle with Strifeshadow to stop the birth of the dark world. From that time, a cruel battle was started……
In the western of Utopia, there's a cursed place called Accursed Tomb. Somebody said this place was inflicting with Strifeshadow and become evil monster. They believe that there's a Fell Dragon, an enormous powerful evil skeleton dragon. This Fell Dragon can use a very destructive spell called Meteor Blast. Once this spell is used, an explosive will appear, it can destroy a whole town in a few seconds. Fell Dragon was also given the power to control the skeletons to help Strifeshadow finish his conquering work. At last, Strifeshadow will reproduce some dark creatures to replace the creatures now and build up a totally perfect dark world.
After Strifeshadow conquers the whole western of Utopia, his next target is the middle part of Utopia. There are a lot of different creatures living very peacefully. In the mean time, all tribes have noticed the dark lord is coming, they gave up their own prejudge and formed a union. This union was Ranger tribe in charge. They swear they will defend their place of origin: Sylvan Forest. In the lead of the Ranger tribe's leader, The Phoenix. With the help of the Unicorn, the holy creatures of the Sylvan Forest, the union army defeated the skeleton army many time. Phoenix is a philosopher who has a phoenix body. He is the witness of the development of Utopia, it has the god's wisdom and he knows all the spells from each of the tribes.
Strifeshadow realizes that his skeleton army aren't strong enough with the union's army, so he sneaks in the Sylvan Forest and winked all the trees in the forest. After that, Strifeshadow soon gets another army. Under the heavy attack of both the skeleton army and a tree army, the union army started losing in every battle. In the mean time, Strifeshadow developed his first type of dark creatures called Wisp. It is very strong, although Wisp is still in the beta stage, it doesn't have a body, it can only exist in the gaseous form. The union army still losing in every battle, all tribes started to fell fear and unconsciously, they blamed the phoenix, they put the responsibility of loss on the Phoenix. Tribes started to be envious with other. They started being selfish, hypocritical, crafty and wicked. When the Phoenix saw this scene, it felt very sad, disappointed, depressed and wimps. In the moment of the Phoenix is the most frustrated, Strifeshadow wicked the Phoenix too!
That was a very unforgettable night, the wicked Phoenix co-operated with the dark army, and they changed the union army into Strifeshadow's slaves. Those who weren't afflicted by Strifeshadow's power waved their weapons crying tearfully. They battled with their tribes, comrades and families. In one night, the whole Sylvan Forest was full of crying and screaming. The plants in Sylvan Forest were dyed red by the blood. The dead bodies covered the ground softly, just like a blanket; the rivers were also full of dead bodies. The seawater changed into blood colour; the smell of the blood is all over the Sylvan Forest like a heavy mist. Since that day, it rained for a whole month; it seems that the god wants the water to clean out this bloody earth. After that, people call this the Path of Depression to remember the death of the warriors…
Even in different tribes, there's a tale between them all. It said in the far east in the Utopia, which has no one alive there, there's a God Road. That's a place that Unreality created by his own hand, a world that only exist brightness and glory, no darkness will found there. Anyone who steps on the God Road will receive Unreality's gift, an invincible power. But the edge of the God Road is belonged into the dark lord's area; there are loads of ancient dark monsters they own the wisdom just as the Phoenix got. Besides that, they know how to co-operate, using different strategies. Since Utopia was created, there are a lot of brave people who have tried to find out the God Road and died. Even the dark lord doesn't know where is the location of the God Road is, so people call this the Blood Path, which means Blood and Death. After the battle of Sylvan Forest, every tribe doesn't have too many survivors. They are the last creatures on the ground. They saw their homes were destroyed by Strifeshadow, but they didn't give up, they even braver than in the past, they helped each other, fight to survive. They hope that they can destroy the dark lord. Their last hope, God Road. Although, the people in Utopia thought that it's only a story, but since Strifeshadow started his conquering work, he placed a lot of multi-eyed monster called Beholder. They are placed here to prevent the discover of the God Road. They are extremely strong. They can use a very strong offence spell that a fireball will shot out and give its enemy a great damage. They can also reproduce during battle; they will ask their children for help. They are called Will. Though they are just born by the Beholders. They still have a certain power. After these monsters, the chance of discovering the God Road is extremely small. The survivors didn't give up; they fight against the dark army while they are going to the east for the God Road.
Strifeshadow was trying to kill the last survivors while he is starting his third stage of his conquering. He created four creatures that have wisdom and thinking: Might, Warlock, Rager and Leaker. He let them breed on the "Entry of the Doom". They develop their own civilisation and cities, they have very good rules, and they have good policy, kings, stages, rules and their idol. These four tribes built a Basilica at the edge of the Entry of the Doom, and placed their warriors all over there. They guarded The entry of the Doom to stop other people coming in.
At last, Strifeshadow created an infinity dark space called "Planescape". There's nothing inside, only darkness and dark creatures. It's just like a black hole; it will grow and swallow the whole world. Cover the whole world with darkness. Strifeshadow even wants to destroy his own creation because Strifeshadow isn't a god any more! He gave up his identity of god, he's a devil now! He thought that a nice world would only exist in death, sadness, conflicts, and wars, just like Planescape. He is totally enjoying the swallow of Planescape, watching it destroying anything which is nice and beautiful. He is satisfying his harshly denounced heart. When the whole world was covered by darkness, he'll destroy the whole things, things that let him unhappy disappear……
Now on the side of the last survivors, finding the God Road is their last aim of keeping them survive. The most important thing is there's no matter if the God Road doesn't exist. They all know the God Road is their last hope. Although people said that Unreality has for given this world and created a new world by his own, but these survivors won't give up. They know the way of finding out God Road will be extremely difficult, but they still going to the east for the God Road……
