Pergola Project,I am pleased to advise that the Pergola Project at the house in South Valley Road, Highton is now complete (see attached photos). On behalf of the Youth Services Committee, we need to make special mention of the efforts of Robert King and Danny Power (not committee members), as without their help, expertise, and equipment the project would not have gotten off the ground. The covered Pergola is now an excellent addition to the house, and will provide both added protection to that side of the house and the outdoor furniture, but also now an all weather space to sit outside and enjoy a bbq etc. The property does require some general maintenance to keep it in top
condition, ie: brushing dirt and grime off external walls, doors and windows,
cleaning out gutters, maybe a high power spray of the concrete paths and deck
area, and probably some touch up painting and gardening. Can I call on all
members to join as one, say in early July, one Saturday/Sunday morning, to do a
quick makeover of the property, enjoy some fellowship, and Kester, can you possibly choose a date and advise. Regards Stuart Monger Centurions and Sustaining MembersBob Pullin has asked that all existing Centurions (Aus$100.00) and sustaining Members (US$100.00) be reminded to finalise their contributions by mid May. He has also invited members who are not already supporting the Rotary Foundation as their favorite charity to consider doing so. Secretary Chris has the required form, to be completed in duplicate. and the Club and member identification numbers to go on the form.
