We still haven't avenged your sister. "No, her murderer still lives." Shaft thoughtfully tossed his dagger in the air, catching it by the hilt whenever it dropped. Is this appropriate then? Shaft shrugged as he twirled the dagger around his finger. "I don't see why not." Thornivath shrugged too and left it at that. Shaft resumed his tossing game, attracting nervous stares from Anju. "Hey, knock it off," said Dev from where he leaned against his large silver hathian dragon. They had met in the Nero Sands so there was plenty of room. Of course, Dev would have prefered a... less dismal place to meet. Fevirem rumbled in agreement, looking around the barren sands. |

I wouldn't have minded waiting out on a ledge while you had this meeting in some smaller room. This place has held too much evil in its time. The massive dragon growled at some unseen enemy, lips pulled back.

I agree, said Anju's x-mas green Pryzith. I don't like this place at all. I want to go to the flurry but not if I have to stay in here much longer. "Fine," said Shaft with a roll of his eyes. "We can head outside if that is what you would prefer. "That would be very nice," replied Anju as she started heading for one of the large metal doors that separated the Nero Sands from the outside world. The three dragons and humans headed out, into the crisp fall air. The thing about the Nero Sands is that it is perched at the top of Cy, right before the spire that is the star observatory. A wide ledge comes out, most areas blocked with rails but some not so that dragons could land. It was so high that the height wasn't even dizzying anymore, just vast. A cold mist hung about it, sometimes clouds would completely obscure the ground from view. The three riders saw two other dragons and one human waiting outside on the ledge. The two dragons were white-based and stunning, a male and female dragon. |

Glad that you decided to join us, said Speeder, the flame-marked white dragoness.

Yes. I had no desire to go into that dismal place, remarked Osirith. Beside him stood T'ryn, his human parter. T'ryn was generally a quiet person, sometimes having an almost haunted air to him. He was cursed with an incurable disease whose progress had been delayed but not stopped. He wasn't coming to this flight because he wanted to especially, but because he wanted to let his dragon experience as much as possible before he died and his dragon died too. We had better get going, said Pryzith as she spread her green wings. The other dragons snorted or nodded in agreement and soon they all were off for the Flurry!
