Baptist Ministers' Wives Auxillary
There are many places we have thought to be secure and safe. Places that could shield us in the event of emergencies or disasters. We have seen in the last few weeks that such places do not really exist. There is, however, one sure place of safety that does not rest in man's hand but in the hands of God. The psalmist tells us that if we are there, in His shadow, we have safety.
The Lord shields us even in the danger. He protects although danger may be in our camp! Just as a mother bird shields her young with her wings, The Lord shields us from the pestilence that lies at our doors. I can trust Him because I know He will deliver.
Take a moment this week to reflect upon all the times God has protected you. See His hand in your life as he has guided you through, around and over the dangerous paths in your life. Remember how He kept you from some things? When you remember, your heart will glorify God for all of His benefits toward you! You will not focus on the negative but you will see the goodness of The Lord!
We are "Safe in His Arms".
