I'm a big fan of the Winston Cup and thanks to a satellite channel, Eurosport, I'm able to see some Nascar races every year. I like to race Nascar cars too using computer programs like Nascar 2 & 3 and I like to race nascar slot car too.
For now I have only 2 original Tyco Nascar cars, Tyco/Mattel does not import Nascar cars in Europe, so I started casting my own Chevy Montecarlo bodies as you can see !
My bodies are a bit narrower than tyco's plastic and rear tyres are too wide so my cars looks more like dirt track chevys than stock cars ! As soon as possible I'll cast narrow rear silicon tyres and wheels to correct this problem. Btw I'm actually looking for other die cast Montecarlo, Taurus and Pontiac to make moulds and start casting other stock cars.
As usual for my test cast/runner cars the paint scheme is simple and decals on my cars are not decals... they are gif/jpg from Nascar Revolution printed on white paper and glued on the body !
