Hasufel is ridden by Aragorn, but was the horse of Garulf. Garulf was killed by orcs when they attacked the Urul-Hais who were carrying Merry and Pippin. Eomer said they could let them use their horses, but if they return them to Meduseld. Aragorn rode Hasufel from where they met Eomer, to Helm's Deep, along with Legolas and Gimli on Arod. In the movie, Aragorn was knocked off Hasufel by an orc, and Hasufel was not seen after that. In the book, he was a grey coated horse.
