Boromir Boromir is a man of Gondor. His father is Denethor, the High-Steward of Gondor, and his brother is Faramir of Gondor. Boromir just wants to protect his people, even if it means succumbing to the ring's seductive power. He sees the ring as an answer to his problem, and is quite distressed when he learns that Aragorn, a ranger, is to be the future king of his city, Minias Tirith. He suffers a heroic and honourable death in the first chapter of 'The Two Towers'. If truth be told, his father, Denethor, favours Boromir over his other son, Boromir's brother Faramir, and is quite distraught when he learns of Boromir's death. Boromir has the great Horn Of Gondor, which he simply needs to blow 3 times and help will come. It is tipped with silver, and Boromir must use it in the battle against the Uruk-Hai. Back |
