Chapter 38
As we pulled up to the mall we were all happy and hyper which is never a good combination if anyone knews us.We would do daring things that we would never do.We all linked arms and skipped all the way from the parking lot to the entrance of the mall.We all busted out laughing at the looks we got from people watching us. We were all excited and were on the prowl for the perfect outfit to wear for the release party and to make the guys drool.That was our mission and we werent going to leave the mall til we found that outfit.we went around from store to store seeing the different styles each one offered. "what do you think about this one?" Aj asked as she came out of the dressing room wearing a pale yellow dress that had some glitter pattern over it. "Its nice.... If youre planning on going to an award show!!" I said "We are just going to a party not the grammys!" Pam chimed in. "ok..ok.. i guess you have a point there." she said as she retreated into the dressing room. We walked out of the store and continued on our mission.We decided to take a break from fashion for a few and went into the music store where we bought a couple of cds and some dvds. "mary are you actually getting that??" pam asked in a disgusted tone. "what??" "are you serious?" aj said coming over to my side. "I like some of her songs." I said in protest. "whatever you say mar!" Pam said as she left the section and walked into the rock section and monika soon joyed her. I looked over at aj as she gave me a look. "what its just ...... oh nevermind." I said as i placed the cd down and walked over to the spanish section and picked up the new marc anthony cd and the selena cd."a must have." i said to myself.I then looked through the dvd section and picked up a few movies even though the other girls didnt approve."what i like the romatic movies..what do you want from me im a helpless romantic!" i said as i paid for The Wedding Planner and On The Line. After we left the music store we headed to the food court cuz we were all starved.We decided on eating at the Cajun grill.While we were eating we were talking about what kinda outfits we wanted to wear."I think itd be a really cute idea if we all wore the same outfit but in different colors." Aj said."well that kinda sounds like a destinys child thing." pam said. "well why dont we try to find things that are similar but not too similar, so in a way we'll put our own little flavor to it.what do you guys think?" Monika asked. "well it sounds great to me.I still dont know why you never presued your dream of becoming a stylist or fashion designer, cuz youre really good at it." i said."shes right you know its a great i dea."Aj said.while pam just smiled and nodded. "well its set then.lets not waste anymore time and lets get to it.Comeon girls!" I said as i stood up and the other followed as we walked into a store nearby.It was around 4 when we finally had found the outfits we wanted.We all decided on wearing nice pants and a cute top.Aj had decided to go bold and got wite pants with a glittery belt that said princess on the back and her top was white as well with glitter on the top part.She decided on white knee high boots and a white bandana to wear on her head.(similar to what j-lo wore to the vmas) Monika picked black slacks that were faded on the bottomShe picked out a tang top that was ruffley at the top of it and tied up on the sides towards the bottom and were outlined in silver glitter.The top was a v neck cut. Pam got brown shade of slaks that had desins where they flared out and the top was of a horse's head through a horse shoe.It was a nice dressy shirt that had flared out sleeves and the bachround color was black and she got a brown hat to go with it.I picked out dark blue flares that were hip huggers and it had a gold belt with charms of hearts on it.My top was a pastel color of baby blue and on it was a white tiger outlined in silver glitter and it only had one sleeve that flared out and the other side it showed my shoulder.I got black opened toed heels that had the straps wrap around my legs.i found a pair of silver hoops to go with it and i got a silver chain to go with it.By the time we left the store our hands were all tied up with bags full of clothes that we just couldnt leave behind. when we got back to justins house we all decided to chill til the guys got back, so I went upstairs with monika to put our bags away i know i didnt want justin to see the outfit til that night and im pretty sure the gilrs felt the same way i did. Meanwhile......
The guys were in the studio having a meeting on what excatly was going down the day of their release party."listen guys you are going to be in new york the day before the party doing press and shows like trl and rosie.GUys i dont recommend taking the girls with you.I love them and all but you guys will be working the whole time youre there and i dont want to get you guys all tangled up with trying to have time with them and making it on time to the shows and itll just be choas.got it?" Johnny said to the guys who were sitting in the conference room looking over their schedule for the next two days. "yea i guess youre right." jc said as he loooked at each one of the guys faces and they all nodded in agreement while justin was having a hard time since he told mary that he wouldnt leave her now that they were in orlando. "justin?" johnny said snapping him out of his thoughts."i know you dont wanna leave mary alone but she wont be able to tag along for this one ok?" he said once again.Justin just nodded and offered a weak smile but soon it disappeared with the thoughts of how he was going to tell mary. The guys had an hour break for lunch and they all went to a place down the street."Man she is going to kill me." justin said to the guys while they were waiting on their food."it wont be that bad we are only gone for two days." lance said."plus all the girls can stay with her at your house so she wont feel so alone." jc chimed in."yea and theyll turn your place upside down with all the makeovers theyll have!" chris said as he busted out laughing by himself."thats not funny."justin pouted at that thought."yea it is."joey said as he laughed at the picture forming in his mind. They arent that kinda of girls joe." jc said "they are more into just having fun and relaxing." the guy ate their food and went back to the studio to finish up the meeting.it seemed to drag on but it was finally over at 5:30 and they all agreed on meeting at justins place to hang out for awhile where theyd break the news to the girls.A couple of minutes later they pulled up to justins house.They walked in the door to smell something really good cooking.They all walked itno the kitchen to see AJ,Pam,monika and mary cooking dinner. "well hello there guys.have a nice meeting?" I said as i gave eachone a hug and kissed justin. "do i get to come home to you cooking and looking very sexy everyday?" justin said as he grinned at the thought.I just smiled. I had my hair pulled into a messy bun and a bandana over it and i was in some baggy pants with the top rolled over to make them low riders and a short tank top that showed my mid-drift."well you guys go get comfy on the couch while we finish up here and sever dinner." pam said as she came up behind me and kissed lance. Soon enough we heard joeys big mouth-"are you done yet?Cuz im STARVED!!" "ALOMST!!" i yelled back as i placed the plates on the table and then linked arms with the other girls as we all said together, " DINNER"S READY!!" Joey was the first one there but we blocked the way and i stated," The only way to get to the food is if you give us some kind of loving first!!" i said as a sly smile crept up on everyones face."well if thats all you wnat then..." jc trailed off as he picked up aj as he hugged her and kissed her."well if thats what it takes to get to the food!" joey said as he planted a big wet one on monika and made a dash for the table.Lance kissed pam and justin said;" you looked so cute cooking.i could just skip dinner and eat you up." he saidas he kisseed me."nonono" i said in a childish voice"you cant spoil your dinner cuz your gonna need room for desert!" i said as i gave him a quick kiss and grabbed his hadn and led him to the table.we all sat down and ate dinner.it was going good until the subject of the party came up."I cant wait til next tuesday!Im so excited." i said as i looked at justin glowing from the excitment."umm.. about that we have to tell you girls something." jc was quick to say."we have to do some last minute promotion, so we have to go to New York and do some shows." "Oh thats cool i always wanted to go to new york!" Pam said."see thats the problem, you girls cant come cuz our schedule is so busy that we wouldnt even be able to see you so johnny thinks its best if you guys stay here." Justin said as he held my hand."ohh." i said disappointed."it'll only be this friday til monday.we'll be back in time for the party here." justin said s he squeezed my hand."but look on the bright side you guys can all stay here so you guys can have some fun." joey said looking at monika."i guess." monika said."well if its only for a couple of days i guess it wont be that bad." Aj said as she cheered up."we'll live i guess." i said looking at justin with a smile."plus that gives us time to plan for the party." pam said with a devilish grin."and what does that mean??" lamce asked."oh nothing nothing at all." pam, monika,aj and i laughed at the thought of surprising the guys with something. we cleaned up and all of uf headed our own ways.Lance and pam left.So did chris and aj left with jc.It was just me and justin, since monka was in her room."Oh what will i do without you here.I'm so lost without you!" i said in sarcasum. "well, little lady you could always call me when youre in trouble and ill jump on my horse and ride back." he said like he was in a western movie. i just giggled.I got ready for bed and justin did the same.we turned on the tv and he told me hed call when he got the chance and that hed call me at night just to wish me sweet dreams.I didnt really mind that much but i knew i was gonna miss him in the mornings when hed kiss me on my forehead when it was time to wake up and especially at night when hed hold me in his arms.but hey i could live without him for 3days.I fell asleep soon enough trying to breath in his scent and the warmth of his body next to mine and being wrapped in his arms.He was leaving in a day or so. |
