Chapter 6 Justin: hi mom, this is Megan Mom: who’s the baby Justin: its Justin JR. He’s Megan’s and mine Mom: what, you 2 had a baby and didn’t even tell me. Justin Randall Timberlake I didn’t teach you like that, how could you of done something like that, you are too young Justin: mom, I’m 19 now and responsible Mom: you call both of you responsible, you 2 will be up each night on end because the baby is crying and you don’t know why, I can’t believe you Justin, how could you Justin: I’m sorry mom, but I am in love with this girl and I don’t regret any of it Mom: Megan, you are irresponsible how could you, your only 17 and a minor still, does your family know about this Megan: I’m sorry ok. I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore. Mrs. Harless you have no idea what my life has been like. It all started when I was out celebrating from getting into an IVY league swimming school over the summer and we were coming home and I was tying my shoe and then something hit the car and flipped over. I was watching my mom, dad, twin brother, my boyfriend of 4 years and my grandparents die right in front of my eyes. I was the only survivor. I was rushed to the hospital and had surgery on my ankle which was broken 4 times and cracked twice. After I woke up from that I checked my self out of the hospital. I got a cab and it took me to JC’s to pick up Connor who was being baby-sat by JC’s mom. I told them everything that happened and I took Connor home. I was left with a 5-day-old baby brother and I had to take responsibility of him. Your calling me irresponsible, you have no idea ok. On school days I woke up at least 8 times because of Connor and didn’t get more than 3 hours of sleep each night. Then I took him over to the neighbors and went to school, then from school till 10 I worked by brothers’ job. Then I would come home and get Connor and put him to bed while I did all my homework. Then I go to bed. After that I did the same thing for the next 4 days. Then on weekends I get up and drop Connor off at JC’s. Then from 6:30 from 11 I would work my mothers job. I did that on Saturday and Sunday. I did the same thing each week after anther. Till one day at school I was so stressed I passed out and then I was sent to the hospital. That’s when the bills started to pile up. I had to quit school; I still got my work and kept up with my friends. I worked my dad’s job. I didn’t have much time for my friends anymore. During the day I was at my dad’s job I was sent back to the hospital. I was so stressed I fell into a coma for 3 days. JC knew he had to help because I was still morning so he was going to move to Florida. He couldn’t leave me alone so he asked me to move with him to Florida down to a nice house. SO I said yes. JC helped me straighten things out. JC’s mom still took care of Connor and I went back to school. I got anther job so JC didn’t have to support me all the way. HE got custody of Connor and me. SO I love him for that. I was with JC once and I was with Tommy Hilifiger and her gave me my own line of clothes and to model them. SO I took that job. I am still settling in and my life turned upside down. When Justin offered to help me I said no and then he helped me get Connor back, that made me think that he was right for me. He helped me move on. That’s was what your boy was taught to do. We love each other and you thought I was irresponsible and don’t know why the baby cries at night. It’s crying because it wants its parents. I’m sorry Justin I didn’t tell you sooner. No one knew besides JC and his parents. I wanted to forget about it. Mrs. Harless just think could you of handled that when you were 16. Well I had too and you still don’t think I’m a good person. Just think that your grandson will have parents and grand parents and he is only 5 days old. I’m sorry for even coming here. Justin I’m leaving with Justin Jr. And I’ll meet you back at JC’s house. Bye (crying) Megan left. Justin: mom look what you did to her. What do you have to say for your self? Mom: I’m, I’m sorry Justin I didn’t know Justin: I’m going after her, you going to come Mom: I guess.  They went after her and they were a couple of cars behind her and then they saw a car flip 3 times and land on its roof. Justin: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Justin ran up to the flipped car and heard Megan say something to Justin, his mom was right behind him Megan: (whispering) Justin I love you, get Justin jr. Out of the car and tell your mom that she doesn’t have to put up with me anymore and that Justin Jr. Is mother less. I know she hates me but I will be gone soon, just get Justin out Justin: hold on Megan, don’t leave me now Megan: I’m sorry but it’s my time to go Justin took a long time after Megan went unconscious to get Justin JR. Out of the car and by the time he was trying to get Megan out the fire department just showed up. They made Justin step to the side then they asked if the baby was in the car and Justin said yes. Justin asked if he could go with them to the hospital and said no. HE was so devastated and it took the fire department all most a half-hour to get Megan out of the car. She was rushed to the hospital by a helicopter because she was in serious condition. Justin finally got out of the traffic and raced to the hospital. Justin was even madder at his mom now. HE didn’t even talk to her. When Justin pulled up to the hospital he jumped out and ran to the front desk. Justin: I need to see Megan Chasez and Justin JR. Timberlake Clerk: will you hold on for a minute. Justin: ok Clerk: Megan was rushed to the OR to repair something and Justin JR. Is the ICU up on the baby floor. I will have a doctor to escort you to the baby floor Justin: thanks A doctor finally got to the ICU and saw his baby getting checked out by the doctor Justin: is he ok Doctor: he should be good as knew, he just has a few scratches and bruises. WE didn’t see any internal bleeding but we would like to keep him over night Justin: that’s fines as long as he’s ok, do you know anything on his mother Megan Chasez Doctor: let me go check, you can hold your son if you want Justin: thanks The doctor came back with news on his girlfriend Justin: how is she Doctor: they are closing up now but your friend is very lucky to get her when she did Justin: why Doctor: she had internal bleeding coming from an organ and they just got finished operating on her and they are closing but they think she is in a coma. Justin said ok trying to hold back the tears. HE decided to call his buddies so he had someone to talk to besides his mother and knew that JC would like to know about this. Justin: (sniffle) hello JC: hey Justin, what’s wrong Justin: I’m at the hospital JC: what’s wrong, did you call Megan and where’s little Justin Justin: that’s why I am here. Megan was involved in a bad car crash and just finished surgery and they think she is in a coma and Justin made it out with a few bruises and scratches and the cars totaled JC: Oh my gosh, is she all right, did you get to see her Justin: no I didn’t and she isn’t all right, the doctors have to monitor Megan over night and they don’t expect her to make it through the night, you should get down here right away JC: thanks for calling, I will be down as soon as possible. BYE Justin: bye That night was the hardest to except to Justin because he was the one that was most attached to Megan. His mother kept trying to apology to Justin when he was crying over Megan’s body. Then he just cracked. Justin: ok Mom stop that all ready ok, I am a little more than ticked off at you right now and I would really appraise you if you left right now because first of all you were getting my girlfriend angry over her parents, being irresponsible, and then you got her ticked and she left and now she is laying here half head. I am losing the love of my life. You can call dad or what ever because I’m not in the mood for you right now. Megan had a hard life all ready and you made this even more complicated. I can’t believe you did something like that to me. If I wanted to scare her off I would have done it my self. You hope that baby Justin doesn’t have any problems because you won’t see me again if he doesn’t make it through this. Now go
