Welcome to the Irish Hobie Cat Association. The Irish Hobie Cat Association was founded in 2001 by a group of enthusiastic Hobie Tiger Sailors that sailed out of the Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Since then The fleet has grown to through out the country where there are now hobie sailors sailing out of Blessington sailing Club and Galway Bay Sailing Club.

The 2004 Hobie Tiger European Championships to be Hosted By The Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Yvonne Sheehan just completes the F18 world Championships with Elaine Taylor. This week Yvonne teams up with fellow club sailor Jarod Dolan for the upcoming Hobie Tiger European Championships in Germany

The Irish Hobie Cat Association Runs its events under the constitution of the Irish Multihull Association. An active Irish circuit exist and events are scheduled throughout Ireland each year.

International events attended on a yearly basis are Eurocat- France, Round Texel - Holland, Formula 18 Worlds, European championships and UK National.

Training sessions are regular with top international coaching provided in Ireland
