Today, many of us work a lot in the church, but I feel sorry that we really read too little about the Words of God. In U, we have 3 semesters. If we can take 4 or 5 courses per team, and read at least one times for 3 of our courses in one team. Is it reasonable for us to read the bible only one time per year? Why we are so surprise when people read the bible once or twice? Why will people find it so difficult to read even 4 chapters per day (1 time per year)? The Truth is: one time per year is not enough for us and is not reasonable.
People used to imagine I am special. If an "A+" student tells you that he reads the text book twice/three times in order to get such results. While you proclaim yourself as "stupid" and no "luck of exams", will you work harder than that guy because you wish to pass a course? The same: if you proclaim that you don't have gifts, wisdom etc. while I keep on telling you to read more. I think you need to read much more than I do. Is it logical to read only one or two chapters per day with a dream to understand what's going on? By no mean.
The purpose of this page is to encourage and helps everyone to read and to love the Words of God constantly and deeply. It is not a commentary nor a methodology of reading the bible. I know nothing about "method", all I know is to read as much as possible everyday and read from one book to another instead of jumping around. Forgive me if this "method" is not comfortable for you and give you too much pressures. Everyone of my articles are using this as a basis, it may create certain kinds of bias and misinterpretation from you. Please be endurable. I am sure you will receive the great blessing by simply follow instead of reject.
To Read, by itself is already a gift, graces, blessings, strengths and powers from God. Be faithful, my dearest brothers and sisters. Read more every day and trust Him. If you do, I am sure He will make you become stronger and greater than I do. Who am I? A sinner who's being saved by Lord Jesus. While He willing to use me to show you His Way and His desire: To Read.
