Enter the World of The Hokum Clones and witness their show stopping, foot stompin’ good time frolics.  Prepare to be hooked by this infectiously pure, potent mix of blues, hollering vocals, filthy spitting harmonica and jagged, rambling guitars, driven by impatient rhythms and breathlessly forceful narrative skills.

An old bookshop in Liverpool, a Robert Johnson book held for Danny and coincidently bought by Robby, spawning a friendship from a mutual love of country, blues, jazz and ragtime.

The Hokum Clones formed in 1999, UK tours with fellow musicians The Coral followed which saw them attracting an ever increasing fan base and earning them a reputation as a unique and powerful musical spectacle.

Last Year The Hokum Clones continued to capitivate audiences with their distinctive psychedelic roots music.  They joined the likes of Richard Ashcroft and The Music and performed one off shows with Terry Callier and Bert Jansch, culminating in a stunning end of year showcase at ‘The San Moritz Club’ in Soho.

The Hokum Clones released their debut 7” ‘Breakin’ from a Jailhouse Blues’ on Rough Trade’s ‘For Us’ Imprint.
