Tombstone was shot in Tucson, Arizona.  Kurt Russell was great to work with and Goldie visited the set, which was a treat.  She's just as charming in person as she is on the big screen.  Kurt is probably one of my favorite actors to work for.  As for Val Kilmer, he proved once again he could give a talented performance!  These two photos were taken by John Bramley.

The crew battled dust, scorpions and huge tarantulas which would charge at us if provoked.  Have you ever seen how far a tarantula can jump? Seems like they go from 0 to 60 in no time.  The food table swarmed with insects and we often joked that the caterers specialized in hamburgers with "flies."  Twenty-hour days began testing our patience, but all is well that ends well, and audiences seemed to appreciate the final product.  Check out my unit publicist credit:  Cirina Kay :-)
