Psalm 131

Thank You God

Together, Forever
One True Friend
Not everything is going wrong,
But not enough is going right.
Like and old, old country song
I don't want to keep up the fight.
I don't know what else I can do,
Everywhere I turn, I see you.
Of course, I wish my life was easy,
That people are here just to please me.
That would make life to undemanding,
Everyone would have complete understanding.
But unfortunately, It's not.
I have to live with the life I've got.
It shouldn't be hard?  Is that what you say?
Try being me for just one day.
Sure I've got this and I've got that.
But you'll find out my life isn't grand,
I might be smart, funny and not fat,
But I want more, plus on the other hand
What I don't have, now that's what bother's me.
Yeah, I guess now I'm acting selfishly.
But what I want, it seems every teen has
Ok, I've had that in the past
But I wouldn't mind a friend or two now.
A friend that'll help in some way, some how.
I have to remember my one true friend.
The one that'll be with me to the very end,
The one that heals me after the daily fights.
The one and only, Lord Jesus Christ.
