| The steering arm was made with 3/4 inch rod welded to 1/4 plate. In the first picture you can see the components for the lower control arm prior to welding: |
| Here's the lower arm after welding to the lock collars. Our plan to use the removable lock collars did not work. There was too much force on the allen screws, and the did not hold. we ended up welding the whole piece to the steering rod: |
