HELP is an inclusive organization providing  support and information for all homeschooling families, especially those exploring unschooling, child-led, and interest based  learning. Home Educating Mothers Support Group (HEMS)

ASSESSMENTS for Ohio must be mailed in at the end of the school year, usually with  notification forms for the coming year. They are signed by a certified teacher, stating that your child is progressing to the best of his/her ability.

Several homeschooling or homeschool-friendly certified teachers provide this service. You can choose to assess using testing, or if you school with  a less structured approach, you can have a teacher look over a portfolio, (samples of the year's learning activities).  Forms are optional, but you can find and print both forms at,
