Your poetry has touched me deeply. More poetry should be written about the homeless. This terrible situation should be made well known
so that more people could help the homeless.

I really believe that we must all work to gather for a common goal of ending homelessness in our life time as I believe setting egos aside that we could be heros in our own ways to the less fortunate of our brothers and sisters...and we need to re educate
the international community that no matter how well dressed we appear and look that 6 months down the road that "Bum" could be you you just muttered get a job to!

Very interesting poetry, I would like to print some in our homeless newsletter, may we. Sometimes small cities don't see the large degree of the problems for homeless persons, our newsletter tries to get that message across. Then I'l
send you the next issue. Thanks.

Thanks, Bonnie, for such hardhitting and spiritful poems! Yes, they make me think. Let me know, by e-mail or on a HPN post, when your book gets published. I'd like to buy a copy if you sell it through the postal service (I live in Arizona, USA, a long w
y from you.)
I am also a poet, unpublished. I am getting ready to launch a mini-career of writing prose, both fiction and non-fiction, serious and humorous. I want to make some money at it, as my poor vision makes going back to work in a store or office very stres
ful. Recently I bought cheaply, from ABE on the Internet, a used 1997 Writer's Market with an unused CD version attached to it. Pretty soon I'm going to get that CD version going, so I can find good markets. If you want me to, I'll let you know if I fin
any poetry markets that either give wide exposure when they publish or actually pay money --- when I browsed through the book earlier, I found that most poetry publishers paid with copies only. That's part of why I'm going to concentrate on prose, thoug
someday I'd like to get my poems published.
Thanks again for sharing and waking people up.
Sincerely, Andrea Wilson
