The HooHaa
Revivalists - 4 Cool Cats and 1 Hot Diva They say every whole is the sum of it's parts. As a group the "HooHaa Revivalists" are every bit as sexy and endearing as the songs they play. As individuals, the members eat, sleep and breathe music as told by their individual profiles below. Read on and be sure to visit the links attached to each members mini-bio.
Ian Gifford - Co-founder of the group, Guitarist and vocalist, Ian provides the harmonies to compliment Brenda McMorrow's sweet vocal stylings. Ian has played in dozens of bands as either a drummer, bassist or guitarist encompassing almost every genre you could name. Also a solo artist and writer of a few of the tunes in the HooHaa repertoire, Ian has an expanded bio available at his own site. Will Haas - Upright Bass - When not providing the stellar upright bass sounds for London Alt-country sensations "The Rizdales" Will is hard at work with his fab studio/record label "Willy Boy Recordings". Will was also bassist with the band "Juke Joint Johnny's" and has played on numerous recordings as a session player. Mike Bonnell - Piano - One of the most studied members of the "HooHaas", Mike has experience in all types of music performance. Having recorded with the likes of Garnet Rogers and Frank Ridsdale, Mike's touch on the ivories is the pure honey in a music world that has become wrought with synthetic substitutions. A player in big demand, the "HooHaa's" feel blessed to have Mike in their fold. For some of his poppier work check out The Golden Seals! Carlos Latorre - Drums - A talented guitarist as well, Carlos has played with "$2 Bill and the Bad Pennies" and Alt-Rock band "Timed to the Sun". Always solid while slightly understated, Carlos is the foundation that keeps the feet moving from the start of every HHR piece. Replacing 2 other past "HooHaa-ers" on the kit, Carlos is a natural fit to the clan and brings fire and fervor to every beat laid down. |
