| Mariposa's Somerset - 1 leg for BOSB Critter Co*op Simon x Mariposa's Trinity Bought this doe as a brood doe but she sure is developing nicely. Will most likely show her and then retire her to the brood doe herd. This doe has her first litter in the nestbox by Ormond's Alexander. One lone cutey that looks outstanding at 4 weeks!! Will update with pictures oon. |
| Currently have 23 babies between 2 and 4 weeks old. Some from repeat crosses and some from first time moms. Will be exciting to see what pops out of the nestbox. Also have Color in the nestboxes. Don't ask how as I am entirely in love with torts but I managed to produce two REW's, out of a solid tort (goes back to REW doe and must have been hiding the gene) and a broken tort that has REW on both sides of her pedigree but farther back. Also a solid fawn and possibly a broken fawn (could be orange) out of my broken Orange GC doe and a tort buck. As you guessed it the rest of the babies are either solid or broken tort - Just like I like them :) |
