At least that's
what I believe.
You defy the laws
of human nature--
you are always so positive.
You have had such
a miraculous effect
on my life.
Life would not be
the same
without you in it.
It's a miracle
the way you always
make me smile,
the way you minimize
my anxiety,
the way
you
remind me that
I am not alone
and that Jesus will
be there to help me
fight any battle
I cannot win on my own.
You are a miracle,
Dennis, my best friend, my love.
I found a miracle in you.

"He is a diamond on the rough" is familiar way of saying somebody has potential to become far more that he is right now. Did you know that an opal is made of desert dust, sand, and silica and owes its beauty not to its perfection but to a defect? The opal is a stone with a broken heart. It is full of minute fissures that allow air inside, and then the air refracts the light. As a result, the opal has such a lovely hues that the stone is called "the lamp of fire" because the breath of the Lord is in it.
An opal will lose its luster if it is kept in a cold, dark place, but the luster is restored when it is held in a warm hand or when light shines on it.
In so many ways, we can compare the opal to ourselves. It is when we are warmed by God's love that we take on color and brilliance. It is when we are broken inside ourselves -- through our defects -- that we can give back the lovely hues of His light to others. It is then that the lamp of the temple can burn brightly within us and not flicker or go out.
Still, there will be times when we lose the luster in our lives and it is vital to know how to restore it. When silver or brass become tarnished, we get out the tarnish remover and do some rubbing. What can we do when we need to bring back the shine in our lives? We can pause early in the day to seek God's guidance. We can count our blessings and name them one by one.
An attitude of gratitude rids our lives of the films of frustration, the rust of resentment, and the vanish of vanity -- all destroyers of self-esteem. When we count our blessings, we multiply harmony and good feelings, and lamp's flame burns higher once again.
Without God's touch in our lives -- His work in us to will and to do His good pleasure -- there is no sparkle or scant joy. But when we allow Him to work within us -- when we feel His hand upon us -- we are no longer hidden treasures; we become sparkling jewels that beautify His kingdom.

I WILL BE HERE FOR YOU When you feel the sunlight CHORUS I will be here for you In the world of strangers
Repeat Chorus Joanette
by Michael W. Smith/Diane Warren
Fade into the cold night
Don't know where to turn
I don't know where to turn
And all the dreams you're dreaming
Seem to lose their meaning
Let me in your world
Baby, let me in your world.
All you need is somehow you can hold
Don't be so sad, you're not alone.
Somewhere in the night
Somewhere in the night
I'll shine a light for you
Somewhere in the night
I'll be standing by
I will be here for you.
Of cold and friendly faces
Someone you can trust
Oh, there's someone you can trust
I will be your shelter
I'll give you my shoulder
Just reach out for my love
Reach our for my love
Call my name and my heart will hear
I will be there
There's nothing to fear
Bridge
Chorus
