Van and Fiona hear about someone stealing Sleeper (wild) zoids. Van hides in a wild Rev Raptor, and is captured by the bandits. The bandits have a new type of zoid called a Whale King, used as a transport unit. When Van investigates, he finds Irvine working for the bandits. Irvine knocks Van out, but by doing so he saved his life. Van and Irvine find a whole bunch of destroyed zoids, but are captured before anything else happens. They find out that the bandits are mutating zoid cores to create the ultimate zoid. Right before they are killed, Zeke, Thomas, and Fiona come to the rescue. Hiltz destroys the Whale King, but Van and co. get off just in time.
