Welcome from Ian, Jake and Tessie!

This was the first Horzoi that I made.  She lives with Helen Lee in Kamloops at Savladai Kennels.  "Horzoi?" you ask?  I came up with the name one night in Borzoi Chat.  The first one I tried to make looked more like a horse, though it was supposed to be a Borzoi!  Hence the name "Horzoi"  - Part Horse, Part Borzoi! This poor Horzoi was ripped apart so many times until it was perfected...

A little about us.... We live in Nanaimo, BC, on Vancouver Island in Canada.  Just myself, Jaye (aka PREZ), my husbandish  Mike (aka The Captain), Jake,  our Malamute/Akita/Wolf Cross who is now 6-1/2 years old, Tessie, our first Borzoi who is 6 years old and our latest addition, a Borzoi named  Ian, who is 4 years old. While I make Horzoi and write stories, Mike spends his time working on his 1932 Ford Pickup, which he has owned for 40 years plus!  It is on the road, but as yet has not been painted.  In his spare time, he works on tugboats!
