This page is what its all about - hunting with all my buddies. Below are just a few pictures of some exciting hunts we have been on over the past several years. Not all the lions pictured below where treed exclusively by Groom Creek hounds. Most of my friends below own their own fine pack of hounds. Enjoy the pic's...

One of my most memoriable hunts and one I will always cherish in my heart took place in December 1997 with my late friend Joseph Wayne Shirey III. Joe passed away on October 22nd 1998 at the young age of 16. Hounds used were Ch. Groom Creek Magic and Olsens Iggy. This page is dedicated to Joe's memory, rest in peace my friend....

Good friend Shannon Click and his 1999 bow harvested lion, also pictured Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Bandit and Ambush Mtn. Maggie.

My friend Bill with a portion of his yearly catch. Hounds pictured are Tug, Gusto and Jim. Bill has been line breeding this strain of walkers for over 20 years....as you can see its working.

My hunting buddy from the Great Falls Scott Beck with his 2000 lion he harvested with a handgun. This cat treed and jumped 3 times before settling in. Hounds used Nt.Ch.Groom Creek Spanky, Nt. Ch. Groom Creek Bandit and Becks Groom Creek Jocko.

My wife Tammy and her 1997 lion. This was Tammys first animal she has ever harvested and with a .44 mag pistol.  Hounds used were Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Bandit and Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Spanky. Also included were Iggy and Jake.

My good friend Ron Bohrman from British Columbia with his fine pack of Black and Tans and a beautiful bobcat.

My good friends and fellow houndsmen, Scott Beck and Jim Barone with Jim's 1999 bow harvested lion. Hounds used were Tally Mtn. Jake and Groom Creek Jodie

My hunting buddy Lance Love and his first Montana lion harvested in 2000 season. Lance made an extremely difficult bow shot on this lion. Hounds used were Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Spanky, Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Bandit and Groom Creek Twister

Bill and just another Big Cat his hounds and he treed in the Sellway Wilderness in Idaho. Not to shabby Bill!! No the cat was not taken on 6-3 its a picture of a picture......

I'm grateful that me and my hounds had the opportunity to help fellow houndsmen Mike Moore with getting his wife Kendra her first lion. She only took one well place shot to harvest this beautiful 138# tom. Hounds used were Mikes Ben and my Nt.Ch.Spanky and Gr.Ch.Breeze.

One of my hunting buddy Josh "Doogie" Huescher with his first Montana lion harvested during the 2004 season. Josh had his work cut out for him on this 5 mile run. Hounds used were Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Spanky, Nt.Ch. Groom Creek Bandit and Groom Creek Tug.
