Common Room
The Gryffindor common room is a a cozy, round room full of squashy armchairs. There is a huge fireplace and a spiral staircase leading to the dormitories. It is a bright, comfortable study place with tables, as well as a common gathering area. The upholstery and tapestries on the walls are all in lush scarlet and gold. The entrance is a portrait hole behind a very large painting of The Fat Lady. She will demand the correct password, of course. All of this is up in Gryffindor Tower.
