High School Class of 1978
CYNTHIA MELISSA CENDANA - LEE
Who would slide down those stair banisters faster than the speed of light?...then pop out into the corridors.
If your guess was Lisa, then you're right!  But more to that, her singing voice is what one remembers.
Fondly called Miss Glee Club, she dedicated her entire high school life to the group.
She was elected president of the club in our senior year and received a bronze medal for her honorary leadership.
"Singing or not, the nuns heard her.  She'd engage herself into rebellious discussions with them" recalls a classmate.
Apart from class lessons, she also authored the volleyball cheers, wrote editorials, and participated in songfests.
Her talent earned her a scholarship at the College of Music in the University of the Philippines.
She moved to the US in 1980 and pursued her studies on
Avant Garde Composition at the San Francisco State University.
Nowadays, her life is a joy with hubby, Ed and two sweet daughters.
She still finds the time to volunteer as an offsite administrative services manager
for a computer software company catering to the book industry.
Great way to keep the music playing, Lisa!
