Ok... it is a little bigger than a boo boo.
On Monday, July 12, 1999, I got in a terrible accident I turned left on to oncoming traffic. I didn't see the car at all. The passenger window busted out of the door (I had it rolled down) and I went to the emergency room because after the whole accident I realized I had glass in my mouth. My Cougar was only 3 months old and had 3700 miles on it. But, I thank God that no one was hurt and no one was in my passenger seat in my car.
And if there could be any funnies in this whole accident...there is. A week before I was coming out of my work and I noticed someone slammed their car door into my passenger side! Well, I got that fixed!!
Another funny: I talk to the police officer that was at my accident online. I knew him from online before the accident. I didn't realize that it was him till I saw his business card when I was home. What a way to meet someone offline! He met my WHOLE family too, excluding the dog! How embarrassing!
Well, I hope this will NEVER happen to me again! I love this car! I definately appreciate it more now! Heck.. I waited 9 weeks for that car to come to the dealership...drove a MINIVAN for those 9 weeks (Thanks Mom and Dad!) and what do I do 3 months later? Crash it, so I can drive a MINIVAN for another 3 months! But yes.. it gets me from point A to point B and that is all that really matters.
